At LIUNA, member activism is the foundation of our strength. Whether through union organizing or political action, members play a critical role in advancing the rights, wages, and working conditions of our Union and workers everywhere. We are on the march for a million members, roughly DOUBLE our existing membership. Getting to a million won’t happen by accident. We will need to fight for it in the streets, at worksites, and in legislative chambers. It won’t be easy, but we WILL make it happen. Can we count you in?
About LEROF
The Laborers Eastern Region Organizing Fund was LIUNA’s first regional organizing unity, first created in 1997. We utilize direct outreach, grassroots mobilization, and strategic campaigns to organize non-union workplaces. By educating workers about the advantages of LIUNA membership and providing them with the tools to stand up for their rights, LEROF helps build a stronger and more united labor force. LEROF also engages in public awareness efforts to expose unethical labor practices, fight against wage theft, and ensure that construction projects operate with high labor standards.
